Myths Busted!

It's Thursday and macha, one more day to the weekend. :) I couldn't think about what to write for today and suddenly dude, I've got an idea.

Here's what I'd like to talk about today...
5 Awesome Myths About Animals You Wished You Discovered.

1. Myth: Ostriches bury their heads in the sand when they're scared or threatened.
Why It's Not True:
They don't bury their heads in the sand cause they won't be able to breathe macha. What the ostriches are doing are digging holes in the dirt to use as nest for their eggs. Several times a day, the ostrich puts her head in the hole and turns the eggs. That's why it looks like they were burying their head! :)

2. Myth: Opossums hang by their tails.
Why It's Not True:
Dude, a baby opossum could only hang from its tails for a few seconds, so if an adult opossum is doing it, it will probably fall flat on the ground 'cause it's too heavy. Plus, hanging from the tail isn't a useful skill for it can't help them survive.

3. Myth: Mother birds will reject their babies if they've been touched by humans.
Why It's Not True:
According to Micheal Mace, a bird curator from a zoo, most birds have a poorly developed sense of smell, which means that they won't notice a human scent. However, there's one bird who can sniff out dead animals for dinner; vultures.

4. Myth: Goldfish have a three second memory
Why It's Not True:
You might not believe this but dude, goldfish can be trained to respond to certain colours of light, different kinds of music, and other sensory queues. They also seem to be able to remember things they are taught as much as a year later. And dude, goldfish could also recognise their masters and even pick their favourites (usually the one who feeds them). So yeah bro, goldfishes may have better memory than me.

5. Myth: Chameleons change colour to match their environment
Why It's Not True:
According to sources, chameleons change colours as a response to mood, temperature, health, communication, and  light. Not all chameleons have the ability to change and some only have limited for colour changing, Of the ones that can change colours macha, they'll often change to darker shades when they are cold but when they are hot, they can change to lighter colours which will reflect the Sun better, thus helping to cool themselves off.

So, there you have it macha. Cool isn't it? Drop by tomorrow 'cause I'll be handing some goodies via my blog. :)

I Saw Red The Whole Weekend

Good Monday afning! I don't know if I should be in a good mood or a nasty one because it's Monday. If you wonder why I'm seeing red, it's not what you think macha. Don't worry, I'm not upset at anyone. :) This is the reason why I'm seeing red.

Yes dude, I was invited to attend the F1 Race Day, Paddock Club Style all thanks to Ferrari. And bro, I got to tell you that it was amazazing. I was at the most happening suite ever, the Ferrari suite. The moment I walked in macha, the music was blasting and people were enjoying themselves. I even had a VIP tour to the Ferrari pit garage. And if that wasn't cool, one hour before the race, we were allowed to walk on the pit lane to take pictures and meet the other teams' bosses, bro.

This is the awesome lady who hooked me up  with my Paddock Club tickets. :)
Guess who else is here? Reshmonu baby.

Disappointment Is So Yesterday. Today's All About Excitement!

Yes, I was really sad and disappointed yesterday cause I couldn't meet my all-time favourite F1 driver. If you haven't read it yet, click here. But, today is a brand new day and I feel so good. Since I didn't get to meet Michael Schumacher yesterday, guess what? I get to meet three legendary footballers today. :) One of them used to play for Manchester United, the other from Liverpool and macha, the last but not least is one of Malaysia's best football player.
Paul Parker (far left), John Barnes (second from left) and Zainal Abidin Hassan (far right)

All excited before the Press Conference.

Yes macha, I got to meet all three of them and dude, I got to say, they're really nice and humble. But bro, the coolest part of the press conference is the opening gimmick to predict the winner of the Standard Chartered EPL Masters Malaysia Cup 2012. You will not believe what happened. Last year, they had an octopus to predict the winner but this year, they decided to hype it up. And macha, I was impressed.

See the two little dots in between the trees, yup, those are skydivers dude. This year, they decided to use skydivers to predict the winner. There are three skydivers each representing MU (white flag), Liverpool (red flag) as well as Malaysia (yellow flag) and the skydivers have to land at a designated spot. The one who lands on the spot or nearest to it, is predicted to be the winner of the cup.

The two skydivers representing MU and Liverpool
The skydiver representing Malaysia
The first one to land is Liverpool
Yes, he was that close to the spot macha
Next was MU.
Erm, the skydiver representing Malaysia crashed into a tree.
If he crashed into the tree, does that mean all our balls will hit the post?
That was the end of the press conference and I managed to steal a couple of shots with the players. Check these pictures out dude.

Zainal Abidin, John Barnes and I
Paul Parker and I.

That's it from me today dude. Oh, before I go, ONE MORE DAY TO THE WEEKEND! :)

Disappointment of The Day. No, Century!

Guess who I should have met today macha? I'll let you guess k? He's German, he's the same age as I am, and he is a seven-time Formula One World Champion. Don't know who?

Yup, it's Michael Schumacher baby! I was so excited about meeting him that I tweeted about it, I updated my Facebook status and some of my friends were asking me to say "Hi" to him. The level of excitement is so extreme that macha, I can't even sleep last night.

I hosted an event for Petronas Motorsports earlier today at KLCC and I thought that I would finally get to meet my favourite F1 driver of all time until... the organizer informed me that the meet and greet session starts at 5pm not 12.30pm. Imagine my disappointment dude.

Now, the only time that I get to see him, not meet him, is during Race Day this Sunday at Sepang International Circuit. He would probably be so focused and not in the right frame of mind to meet his fans. And macha, I wouldn't wanna distract him right before his race 'cause I want to him. :)

I'm so disappointed and sad dude. And, I look cute when I'm sad. Don't believe me? Check this out.
